- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
4 p5 w, l0 Q. C$ \+ o, |8 a- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling# t4 E. H6 a7 |6 S
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups. ^' r& H' _& x; m4 i8 b
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
" d' I" l+ Q, m2 Y) X, T% O0 o- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

3 |! Q I$ z) V, }4 w. x) N5 z- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
; C! E* j( J6 ~( u- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement, a% @6 ], Q4 h' V+ _
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
7 y, \4 R8 ]4 f7 i- Experience doing program development$ g9 }6 ]+ P8 i z8 b6 ~
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
+ \. h+ Q! B" R- Q! f* A2 `- Self-directed and able to take initiative
5 X3 \% ^' a' ~5 Q- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
9 ^2 _$ g% J3 m. Y+ Q$ H+ h- }- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license
