Responsibilities:. J: r0 L% D- i* Z. J/ s
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth# A& q8 M+ x; {! F' \
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling# h% w5 B1 m9 S+ B1 H0 w) x
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups/ @( G, m8 T5 _' K8 D" `
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs& X5 }2 U$ O9 O' U$ b
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

3 I. F7 _& p1 E$ a& {( eKey Qualifications:* x5 ?3 t6 {. n8 }/ Y. M) I' J
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
y* V! u7 P* Q! E |: m) e x- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement" d* `% Q8 d4 i
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others3 M8 r; }3 ~9 w/ X7 o6 n
- Experience doing program development
/ m: x6 g) \; Q9 X+ p; p- Strong organizational and coordination skills4 _7 f0 V: G' X _, e) D
- Self-directed and able to take initiative# K. U( R# y M, a7 `
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset* j8 N3 N- L' ~
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license9 [' k8 P+ S+ e$ |+ y
; y$ R* I5 s O) F) P8 r. o+ l- ~. D7 D1 s( @3 W# S8 v Q3 a

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
