Job Duties / Responsibilities- u, E2 B2 m+ ^; J! R
This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
0 o/ p' E8 a6 R, V7 k# M' G3 c• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support) n. k9 y$ E+ E: w
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel3 h' L% K" k" d, C4 e: ~* H
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
- P3 o8 x2 I( b% Y' T% C• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments: c) p4 z8 U, o9 c2 l7 N
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables) }* ?2 D& o) v0 u7 b3 e! v
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
% w$ k1 _- M$ r) t, O. }9 ]• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
+ q+ m' Q9 O! o/ L+ o3 w• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI Q( T; a* o1 ]5 T. I( _, q
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator9 s, G7 d2 I, ]3 {) O
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
2 D( z) D. `# ~- k9 s7 ]3 s• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
. D& B5 D7 j3 a H/ w• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset7 c7 ? w Z9 M3 z& E. J$ S
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
