9 n8 ?0 c; B0 f) fTHE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:

This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
Eligibility Criteria
  ~6 R/ B# z3 JAll potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
: ^8 O( \0 Y5 q$ a•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
1 x6 B+ e7 [2 O' ]+ D/ e•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
2 m  u5 Q/ m0 e, |5 p1 R/ f4 a9 q& G•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
# F" o. y  v8 a: u•Be eligible to work in Canada
•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop
# S& m4 L$ p. N. A, t6 g+ w" c! c4 ~; o•Lack access to professional networks

! z$ V0 p7 ]$ L4 k1 p5 UThe maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
