This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
! ^* |0 V4 T9 x" qPrograms run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

Entrance Criteria
, |  W' b; N) KYou must be/have:
# V+ ]+ f/ M+ L, c# T' K" `• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
( b8 v+ \- k: c5 N" l8 t8 Z• Unemployed or underemployed
4 W. O# S/ I  w8 |7 j) S. n4 _* J6 z• Minimum 18 years of age
; A" L. a3 e1 {5 ]0 R* Q• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
7 ^9 F+ u" o0 z9 H8 q. V3 }• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license

• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
