# e& ?1 H7 P. d5 W$ c1 l- {CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Perform financial administrative duties as required.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

$ Y( _) J% |; g1 y, G2 Q• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

' n; P0 B W+ M; s• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.2 X0 e3 u( _1 Z: }

Fund Development

|4 j; P( S( r5 W/ c& I• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.7 ^1 p. e Y% d
/ a ?0 w: Y! d2 [• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events., N Q& v! _1 z0 R# q& g/ m
9 }+ C4 N% c/ v! H0 {$ f& T• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
