6 V( C( g. j: j" l( P8 X5 PCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.8 z' J8 B4 h0 h% u6 L

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.( F4 ~. F0 M' a% i; T/ Z9 I

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.5 t2 C4 x* C: }! C

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

, d+ e/ ~ @9 s+ s• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.& B7 K8 ~' }( `& p! Z- h

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions+ g* _: q' f+ \5 i

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.4 H6 P$ R- g" C2 U3 {: ?4 g

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.2 E1 `! z& I6 M: j. Z8 X; K

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.3 O8 e+ m. y% [" y
