Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

8 m% e3 W, j9 U/ V4 k. y, |EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.( ?% Q) ?& T8 C

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.' F' N/ ?7 d/ S
& p' h4 X7 S* o. p5 u6 `' B6 I& DPolice say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.
