Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.
# s q% `& p+ L8 R3 w. \! Q2 ^7 e: P' E/ h j& G1 }) v
Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.$ p+ C) \- u9 }& H. J' f
0 T2 B; ?, v/ o1 c5 Y. g; Q# V, [Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.) S- l; t0 _5 X

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.
