A 20-year-old woman has been charged after a tenant found the dead body of a baby girl under a bed in a north-end Edmonton home last week. P; j$ Z; [0 T: X& A# _' l% X8 y6 F

Police have released few details on the autopsy results, but said Tuesday the girl was born alive. The girl's death is still being labelled as suspicious and not a homicide.+ U! M7 b) p' ^3 D3 z0 v
% Q6 [4 D; o, KThe infant was found on March 19 when a man sharing a home at 69 Street and 130 Avenue, who would only identify himself as Wayne, entered the basement suite to do some laundry.' M# I' a/ O' a2 s! W; G; K( E* U

Wayne said his dog began barking and eventually led him to the body. He and his girlfriend called police after they saw a small hand in the bag.

& K9 F! B* [ BPolice said the girl's body was wrapped in towels and placed in a plastic bag.* m8 [5 t1 n+ y5 N s% x1 S
