skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
4 F: p$ c. l$ [' @$ A, J7 Nprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work
$ |, x3 f( v' t. f& i" jexperience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
1 A, @1 o$ V3 u5 K) `4 }4 Iwarehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food
9 o4 O9 c1 E3 T2 |services and others.

' I( H$ j+ }, T/ h+ SCandidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian( P' @) l+ {2 n. ~. ?, N! M+ s( J/ Z
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:! j; C* A0 C |# U, u
* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB4 k9 ^2 A. z2 W$ y
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-
9 \& R& _* y6 b5 L: Dsecondary education6 m, _& j5 A S% `
* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand
: u. C! e1 K L9 ]occupation+ c. S% N0 u! \- }
* Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed
