A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.* V# E! y/ u% F, R0 K8 x4 U

• Answer multi line telephone system& o0 S4 q! b7 d
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries) a" o$ m5 u& Z! B$ c
• Arrange courier services for all departments- t3 e; A; s, J! \) g' M6 l# t" { w; d
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

Administration
- ~& \7 x; i% `• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail# @: F- T. l( n& n$ H% n, g4 a
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
! d. |( p$ S$ d# P# T8 Z• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency " D5 O6 P; i' `8 N9 M
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration v& `1 E% T+ C H, H8 O: D7 t2 X
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers ; I6 G3 A( R* A
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution) p8 Z# |; Z2 X) W7 {# w
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments / w4 u$ v" q( K$ r
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested o) t1 V" L: _7 X6 Z

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

& ]0 u0 ], ?1 k0 R) E# T1 ]• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
) g$ Z, n5 J- }) J, l& r$ f* p• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset, P9 r; l' A% Q. b
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
