9 ^* H6 }8 [& X, B, w) c! ?Key Responsibilities Include:
7 l6 H. V' c- f$ s4 v! r) gActivity Planning and Daily Activity: \! }4 ~6 V' l
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.0 M( Y5 r$ x/ I
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. + ]0 K+ e" [$ F& k4 F9 c! U" _
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, " g/ T8 l0 ^4 l7 a7 c4 z
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
* z! y3 { o! M, m$ T• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
# O- A6 l1 k/ H0 L7 S• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.: }0 W V; U. m5 j J
% [; w" J6 g; M0 C+ Y0 bThe successful candidate will have:$ w" p! }; R# n' f7 d! m
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
9 D# z" o R2 n3 k8 d L• Experience with children
' T3 b7 U( C6 b' m• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth p3 ^, W7 i4 ^6 |- J
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.. u" d( d5 r/ r& e! Q
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.: N3 V+ f1 G5 ^/ x" v
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
% F3 B% A' M& Z- X# Q• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
