Administration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment.
: u7 M# _% z1 i H, J- JCandidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes. s& \" D, m4 G6 g, z3 k
Maintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software.
# d" H* x1 X5 PMaintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter. , W* C) v$ s' D1 U
Working with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained. . {' }, }/ U' R2 a# j. o
Ensuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. 6 u4 ^6 O( `' n/ T8 H; p# h# \( l
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications. Q \( r( v+ y# }. V
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS:
" u2 c4 @" i" C8 n" @2 EThorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux ' p Q5 S) K5 p! i) D
Strong IBM SAN configurations experience
9 F, B9 A8 _% [) wExperience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases.
