Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
1 X) i! ~! t7 I7 M8 PResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
/ n  s4 J: l' z. @* s- Recruit children for summer program
% `1 N  p3 h0 m# l6 r* |: y- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

4 d1 m- y# y- ~  F; s9 R# O0 [
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
% t, R4 F5 {2 D0 c" u- communication skills
7 c5 N! b5 Z2 t! t- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
$ v) j" R' f4 S  d4 C" f- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
8 t7 {% ~) v4 ^% A- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
