Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
4 U! R0 d. _  C% r- Organize focus group(s)
" r% F7 `1 D0 H1 ], K- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
( L6 X0 f: e, S! |+ w: Y! }& x3 ]- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
3 l) k: s/ C( s. ?, X- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

* e, b! P/ y" U: w1 w& C, q  S9 T- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- q* C' D- m% @3 K  e$ D7 V: q! I- communication skills
. M- z# N4 K' c: X- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
