Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:
1 P( e3 r- r8 Z7 C
1 W. z4 d+ s$ |! V" nControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)

3 S2 W) g" |) F" S+ j- C! Y  MA "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

/ P  h* c$ I* U7 \& k3 FI am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

I think so, i can see i have two keyboard inputs now, but the problem is that i can not shift to Chinese when i press Alt-Shift

xp应该有很多中文输入键盘格式可以选，你选的哪一种?

你是用XP吗？想想当初你装OS时候是否将支持东方语言的软件包同时安装上呢？
