Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:
4 g( c2 P/ Q# S2 H' _# n# O. K2 @
8 [# Z/ L6 X" J) EControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)

% T( E. d7 b7 Q5 z! XA "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

0 @& m" H. t( M. F( RI am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

xp应该有很多中文输入键盘格式可以选，你选的哪一种?

你是用XP吗？想想当初你装OS时候是否将支持东方语言的软件包同时安装上呢？
