Housing Program Worker

: B+ }9 C; a& `1 P. Q  l8 jKey Responsibilities:
2 l, c& V! N7 z/ f1 F& l) i& y9 t2 } To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
0 P2 Y5 u! X1 t1 p/ f To help promote the program in the community.
, ]4 M6 R3 R) d( ?  u4 J To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
" D+ ?9 ^9 Q1 G To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
$ R* g$ w9 ^. Q4 h0 T To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
% s6 g+ o. A7 Q2 \ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
$ |; v2 Z$ O8 f To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

+ M( p3 a2 R, D' n( |% B: S8 oQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
* m5 S! P4 i, p0 o$ K# N Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
  F) ?, c# [; H8 `; s  t4 e+ S Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
4 Q& p( K- u% ?. d( r Current CPR and First Aid certifications
8 c& g' d6 Z6 ], V  {6 S( I2 t. J( m Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
