Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
/ H4 c1 J% C3 l+ }0 m; r To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
) z/ K5 w( D  _& G. s7 Y To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
, w, Q$ H0 R" Q" M  w To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
, M: K7 n, G! m0 a1 k7 n Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
* y8 V2 W& P/ ^, A  e* h Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
