Housing Program Worker

; T  T5 \2 I) W3 J3 T- RKey Responsibilities:
+ X4 Y' c( Q. \* I) P/ A' V8 M To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
5 v" v5 p# e% `! M$ e' E To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
# @' T2 G7 E& K' p/ U  X To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
* M- h2 ?7 ]9 r2 k! ]9 [ To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

* b# ]  T) V5 ?8 J6 fQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
% f- U! T$ k5 X7 m 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
' K9 Z% f2 d; l, l Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
