The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.: @; Q7 Z2 Z$ ^

: E3 l% _5 p; `% [7 \' sThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.0 M$ f2 r, _" b: Z& X5 Z

Job Duties/Responsibilities:$ m. _, Z- p. s
•        Human Resources Management( i% h3 b: q. v% A- F$ ~( O6 }
•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
; |: e( @* b- N•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
( o- g' z; i6 i) q( s6 z•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities: G; l4 y* D" O
•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services
1 _) _, K9 y6 r$ C: E' s3 u  _, ~# i•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery
' S$ x; m6 ^  [+ g3 [5 m•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 6 y; `+ H& c0 u9 `* Z
•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
1 n: E5 b! ^7 ?7 M+ W•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
! r+ Z/ V2 v2 n7 H1 O% F•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
% K6 v% [% q+ |5 @% O7 @4 h•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested
+ [3 z1 n8 O7 j# C1 t•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
! V8 H1 o% c2 s% M, C- J; S1 t  {•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program
1 {9 g. ~2 k' m4 M: H2 U7 |5 g0 p•        Implement service modification, as required, r+ {7 u! [9 m

Administration3 z4 C8 N: C' P8 b7 H8 ~( e2 c/ a# s
•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
' R) J! J5 h/ w0 q: o" {( W•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
; R' c5 `& D7 t0 O" `0 \3 ~3 ^% _; e•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:. |5 f4 T- W1 t! Q* J
, h( o+ X! u" _' b3 M
•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field2 B& l, w& P8 A; `$ E! R
•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities5 W0 ^$ Y3 n! b
•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience; v3 ]7 w, d- c$ m
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
- R% W7 R; h1 H. V& H) k& _•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
% C) p  U' J: t; z•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
