The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

7 r( r0 z0 R {# W( [This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.( g: t! }2 ]# P) j* O

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
% F+ D p$ E: R ^( }• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 6 a+ W9 G1 X* C, Z8 ]2 W
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
4 Z9 ]: X+ S5 n• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services* F0 Q+ r/ S! X( T5 @) a
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

5 O& Q) _! j; v3 S• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program / A5 T3 t/ F/ T: ?, F8 E- `) n
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
( x \( ]* y% X: w; c! m• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required+ x1 Y' Z' P8 n1 R
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication2 X3 h6 d( o- A* ^& k! ]
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
( ~. q3 C# x2 z6 r+ j; f• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department9 T6 O: x" l) T# | v+ S
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director Y& b- ~* v6 Z6 F/ n0 Z! [& A/ m
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review8 h) F8 u( E3 G+ |7 v' }
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required) t( O* U1 x9 U) T9 ]

Qualifications:& l9 f! ~$ ?% |$ ^ L/ w
4 v9 }/ C( i" `2 F$ e" b( K1 O
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
8 W+ W( y3 ~+ o• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities8 _( l, n. {" p# y" b8 l, L8 J6 l
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
' a/ J/ \' R8 C0 [2 ]1 t0 j• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
! U- x. [# J$ ?/ k1 b• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population0 Z, \; l5 j" j/ N) w5 u
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office7 |2 X2 g5 r" I
