The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

' \* k1 K+ c# a• Human Resources Management
0 l5 o# f D" R4 o7 E p. Y• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
$ Q2 M0 Y% ?6 @) `. ?/ J2 L• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
% l3 U5 M5 u, j8 G• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
) @) O4 p) i+ ]. a9 t, j• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
) f5 r6 y! N2 p% a& z* `+ g• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program & ?& X R9 w6 c, S% L3 ?; P
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes/ R9 ]" t4 _3 n+ I# o `( ?/ [
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required+ M) ?% L- V! d5 h5 a7 G: a
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
1 @' ~* N; R) b0 v5 w. \: P s• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
$ V6 b9 ?' i; J1 l0 ?• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department# Y I7 H |3 O+ C7 ]
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

$ Y$ ]* m5 C8 n• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director

• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required% @ S9 h4 _# u5 M0 O: k1 B

' ^2 p' U. R* B! R8 k* Q% t• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field6 Y( [/ v/ v+ L
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities6 m) N1 H8 A4 Z5 h8 n
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience( d9 D% n4 @- P) e \" g
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations; @0 e* i3 q" X1 F
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population6 B; z" {- C/ b
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office/ u- g8 Y$ x# f" t3 p
• Equivalences will be considered
