The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.8 U* H& \4 c# w
3 { ^9 v0 e6 W3 c% ?/ U6 X3 |This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management
5 S. J! i- m0 H4 d5 V• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 8 X' j6 W9 s! _1 M
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors : _) Z- k% k6 S$ j) j7 Z+ F8 e3 v, m
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
_! F1 T* g- v! x# v• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
, ?' A( E0 f4 b1 H* z, l1 {• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities4 _: O! {9 f! F ]4 l! i$ t

8 A t- u6 N) N) Y" q& C! g• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
2 W+ f& o$ U! {; F x2 O) [• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
% L: z4 a2 Q* S/ w, o. \1 `• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required# \( b- y3 Z6 m" \! Y7 Y
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication4 C$ ~& D6 [6 ^; Z5 J
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
& K8 V6 k' A; {9 c5 T• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department- o+ D3 o- l5 h; Z% _3 y7 u( I
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program5 k) O" m- V' K% W7 y# v' A8 `
• Implement service modification, as required

• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
. o, H! N: z* D8 o2 E& K• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities9 j6 J) I' C, S; `5 b
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience; ]; s) R3 G# }8 Y# i) G- }! F
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations) o J6 {; o9 A' i- P4 _) s; |
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
- v3 h# ^3 @. m5 r! u• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
