emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video
1 ], ~8 Q& w5 h+ ?1 N+ ], o4 sand media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

# m5 I g, g7 g1 v3 kJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 0 z5 L( @' w; P X9 j; M- I( _
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 8 O8 j& G# | O6 {
well as the script, magazine and book library. 7 f. V- g2 ~* k0 N. B* h

Duties: 5 g1 O: g8 I# A$ p; S( m
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
7 A8 \: q; m$ O2 Y5 @5 g' s% B7 i" e- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
8 B" U8 b s" q$ ~3 D- Implement a catalogue template for future use
- ~* `! d' C. ~, B$ M: V" k- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure # p6 l, ?) ^- J% _2 d9 A+ J+ S/ T& D- x
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

8 A& U# m) L* N! _) EQualifications: The ideal candidate will have:
$ W& Z3 [- I' U- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts ; w0 E7 P( Y3 a3 g ~+ R; \" @
- Strong organizational skills / ~( k9 s+ x4 Y) ]
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 5 ^4 v6 t* m( T1 \) x
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
