Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
3 a  |( x- y) _0 {8 ` To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
4 c- H) U9 N! f; o1 Y; q To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
: }2 w! F& ]% h! m# _ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

* d' e+ z9 V5 E8 EQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
* i. t( X! ]- n& ]( d7 k 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
3 N' o) K, |- D3 ^! G Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
  ~! |7 H# t3 y+ ?; B Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
1 U' ]1 ^) f& I/ ]$ b1 I0 ] Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
