Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports

2 F  `  |2 `% Q+ Y( }' ?- Provide orientation for parents
' v- y. a! Q6 X; e' P" X- Find sponsors to enhance program
6 v  a& ?# e% ^8 {! _, N' h- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

( G7 e8 ?) J* y) O) d. j: O9 ^Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
* M% v7 h1 U4 {# N" u4 r9 ]% _- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
$ x, s8 t7 ^: M- }& ]- G- good computer skills
  E4 P+ d9 v( Q* O2 Q+ M3 ~7 u- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
