Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
; a5 n* B2 u. _4 IResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
5 \- R0 K- S: Z) J& D4 }( [- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- H4 g8 C" Z( N7 U# X- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
/ `/ A6 f# a0 g) V- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
2 c6 q0 T5 u8 l9 A" |& m4 e# T
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
# q0 e$ H: a# d" o) ~  G" x4 `! h( ?- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
4 L) c' R/ J0 V+ Z8 S7 o- communication skills
& Y, k5 V* Z# H3 o# L- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
, z5 Y! c. s! x% [6 J8 K* T- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
8 n1 P5 c# q9 V, B' _" ^3 V: e- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
