- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
. B. N i+ ~! W: @9 A provide services for Chinese community
5 X) O0 M8 N L1 ]- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population * Y9 V' h+ W% B' b% |3 X% @+ c
access to mainstream services7 c7 S+ U) \5 O6 D( m, X& J4 c2 n
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of " i* C/ y: C- P! J, |2 r- |
social services# ^) n& o( G/ l2 V! T) E; y
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies; w; G3 [+ S: H5 g; d
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members. m0 k2 u0 \ F
- update ASSIST website2 r( k3 w9 h9 M& D! e
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
0 ^8 a; b& Y+ s- |- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services, q7 }9 h! b! t9 z) ]; f
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time% O9 Y* o: t# I
- update membership database" [" l- [- l) X) f1 U2 l* \- @- e* S3 G
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
9 P1 o- c9 S9 n$ i- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of * R' s! m) F4 V2 C0 v
experience and education 7 m# }1 h$ X9 `) _
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
3 W/ S* I/ h! H. W0 X- b- \ D2 j- experience in community work and immigrant services
9 K g/ i/ X/ x, P, K/ I" {- experience in website update/design
! p- m6 Q! t, S6 ^- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset( I$ N8 C. ?- e6 d- _! ]
