Responsibilities:
' N& L! Z8 _: J: T; i8 h-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
! a) r. O8 k- g1 t; Z, j        implementation of the Summer Camps
$ p" q& ~# l# j-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
3 N* T6 Z) q" C-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

+ h' O1 f. ^0 n5 P/ iQualifications:
. \. p2 O+ E3 x0 @8 T-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
) Q" z+ W" e! F3 r2 s3 G-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
2 Z7 }5 e: ]8 Y! Q6 v" h-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
, m; p/ b1 C0 n2 a" a3 _9 c-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
' Z  z9 u& Q# S# ^' |-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
. a6 b( B5 J8 Y3 `-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
, l( i4 E( \8 \7 `4 v-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

  J. v7 t8 }" i7 ISalary
8 G5 d% q# _" j-        $14.00 per hour
