Duties

" R$ ?4 r. D! c, o' ~- h; Q+ [    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
; @+ @  I2 d% h    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
( }; E8 k7 z! j6 B8 D0 W8 `7 {    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
4 s5 D* M; J$ K$ w" ]5 t    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。


好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
3 r" I8 `( m- I3 R' L! fSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
