Duties

    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
/ a8 `. u+ N5 J, Y$ j- k0 p( V0 A    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
# }$ i% J- e4 E% I) V    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

Qualifications

    * Minimum of one year of related experience in some aspect of analytical mass spectrometry is required

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

4 \5 G2 y- s6 s" y6 K! c* N本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

8 j/ J* w; y/ `+ B. Z: _5 \好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.
