    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
+ R. p% a0 I7 D5 V; A' _4 O    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
% C5 f$ e* {  d% h* e- P    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

    * Minimum of one year of related experience in some aspect of analytical mass spectrometry is required

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

: Q& ?9 W/ E0 S0 J) ^- H好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

: D& k5 e( h- F8 W3 bSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

( x2 B8 S: F: D# s3 e; Lti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
