A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• WHMIS; ^/ l. k/ ~: c: k* X+ @
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care* Q: j2 }5 Z1 x4 O. ~* Z
• Components to improve communication skills1 J% B9 s# \2 L% S$ B8 Y; J' h$ m2 n
• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

Eligibility Criteria
' M6 H; U& g/ }• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen0 h# {* ?" m* u" n9 J1 G
of Canada% I3 N2 m% v9 F2 Z; t& P8 f
• have a Social Insurance Number% S" ]9 a8 s. @
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
; G% o4 e$ v Q6 p; T4 S t$ w• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent% M7 w7 b- b- w f8 l& p
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time8 K4 r& B/ j: C- D6 p: _5 W
program
' r6 X4 Z; |: ^/ DParticipants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet- B7 c! m: a0 n& z0 S; i
the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
