As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
0 j1 {- e- g( x5 z7 {! YAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:# e. J0 A; K+ G h# ^7 h" r
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
, X$ L {' y( w2 K- vCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
$ j& l) E9 w* U: z6 ePerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
2 F2 y8 X. d+ o x# S# A% V- hAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
% D$ o( H/ t- N* I& C6 J6 u1 FSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
. N! g! b+ O# yAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 1 d& i* u/ Z5 o
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
|1 Y& B( Y: j( q. oSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. * v, m! N1 ^- f# c1 l
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. U X4 i$ q( V
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset2 @3 i; a5 L* M
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.7 W4 ~1 P; y3 j$ H0 p! G5 n
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.7 }! p9 ~' @$ w7 O5 D) b
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.( b/ |4 Q! i2 }4 q) U6 a4 }, i
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
