                     General laboratory maintenance
                       Maintenance of laboratory equipment

( a0 b3 \+ r* g/ t5 O# G                     Quality assurance procedures to maintain general good

Requirements:          Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
                     Good command of spoken and written English
                     Certificate of competence in Laboratory Technology from a recognized Canadian Institution
                       or a foreign equivalent Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory setting
  P  x  G2 `/ C1 B8 \" C                       an asset Weekend duty on a rotational basis
Availability   :       Immediate; probational specialized training period of 6 weeks
Salary              :       Commensurate with qualifications and prior experience


Position           :   Laboratory Assistant Part-Time (6hrs. /day)

Responsibilities:      Preparation of Cord Blood Collection Kits
1 h& Q4 D2 Z# c- _1 g9 j, @                     Pick-up and documentation of collected cord blood units
                       Processing and documentation of laboratory inventory and data  
                       Maintenance of laboratory equipment
                     Maintenance of liquid nitrogen freezers
! k. _2 X( k8 C2 x                     General laboratory maintenance
Requirements:     Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
                     Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
                     Good command of written and spoken English
                     Computer literate
                     Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory an asset

Availability   :       Immediate; 6 weeks of specialized training
