The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog:

- @# Z e0 g& O; C2 o4 ]That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw
! ]# F6 K* E' K& `; e' YThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw
3 Z G6 p: C" f/ XThat has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act 4 n' E* m" x8 A) t' p3 l' g
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club " d. @, H, x( _: w- x2 S% K
Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
