Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

9 O3 g, V0 S; {& IJob Description – Responsibilities
) @3 _7 S+ o( p& S7 r5 I9 n: u•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
4 \  o$ f5 h2 H•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
0 Y# D% Z7 V( W6 U•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
3 F3 f6 K1 f0 t" j* H6 [0 k•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
$ N7 |- O+ J4 ^/ d•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
" a1 I5 z% b' d1 t7 E•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
2 g  l2 s) D. v1 q5 s•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
, B; q8 A$ a1 @! n•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

* f5 A7 o( c9 {) |: X- I2 jQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
9 B1 R+ ^6 f8 P! e7 \•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
