Job Description – Responsibilities
9 D# o: n& Y+ r9 k- r% j•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
! O  w  F  y# a% b/ N! Z•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
0 x6 R7 A. f9 f1 W( B•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
7 ]% l: a! B# s- L$ }5 A2 X, t2 [•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
, `% W# I! N2 ?1 s) u. j% ]•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
0 r; P3 [4 o& q6 @# v•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- s6 W0 s: b& H2 d# ~1 J1 y6 E" y•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

0 `: L5 ~0 {) g! B" V5 F! n* j$ aQualifications
6 P9 w! R. Q) n: X•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
7 R+ F1 S  m# g' M) a# s' ?•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
