Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

( N7 D$ ?$ ^8 A0 Q- h% U4 YJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
) `- c) S( l" R' x2 |•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
- ~* H+ k2 i, T& D8 w•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
4 Z5 R1 d% M% d$ {•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
/ S6 g9 R1 @: w& R: w•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
# ~! X( T% o0 j9 i•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
% g& m3 M7 B; u  B9 b/ d; L•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
. p1 m: \6 O3 W8 r! u•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

7 d2 @/ e3 h& E% r8 vQualifications
* H' n! w6 N5 N4 N8 ]% L•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
