Job Description
: ]4 l. \, T- ~. \5 B/ [Position: Youth Services Manager
, y% w1 \1 n* f; DFull time position (35 hours each week)

5 f- o0 C7 z% d; fJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
9 S3 `/ b6 F$ u•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
6 v1 f" ~  D! q% n% f•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
" D. g5 ?4 L; G5 l( R! D•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
3 J/ _, T: s0 A* d•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
3 w5 f1 M1 y) z6 }$ u) f! h•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
9 W/ f' D9 e# V: |6 N•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
