Position: Youth Services Manager
+ w4 a* V* t* {0 \. a+ xFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
1 T( V& c! S& S% ~; E•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
% t" ?, x7 L! _- O, r' f! {" J•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
. R; G; _5 }1 ]•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
4 W# R/ ^6 B9 u1 t; h•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
; f' d# q3 _/ ]* _, I•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
0 ?3 _* S8 F) ?3 F) `3 y/ C•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

; D+ @# x! ~2 s/ R0 ^. y8 x8 ]•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
