Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
$ M$ k& S& ^) O. `$ nFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
& N) f6 D% e3 _. t•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
) ]# f- F# F0 W; t7 a& |  m•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
( _. m7 s9 d4 \! }1 g! n3 X•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
" z( f3 w2 x  [0 O' ^" m•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
# t" n: D7 m3 u! O•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
8 _6 ~! D4 F3 v, r, O" [) Q•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications
4 @8 Z7 z5 _' A$ B7 k4 K•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
. v; H# o* I( C" C, `& Q•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
6 v" J9 s0 a$ {* N+ _0 B•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
( `; t. Z3 I, l6 \4 H: V•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
