Full time position (35 hours each week)

6 S0 F2 e, m& T4 ?5 i: ?Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
0 K; ]* _6 N( N  z$ B1 W•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
5 m/ r& g" m( V. p•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
# g8 E  w' g% u0 H/ B# B2 F6 W•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
) {9 y, G" L/ g( n( v•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
" y8 L2 p+ _/ L% k- W•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
