AutoCAD/GIS Technician

Job Description/Duties: D&K Telecom Consulting currently has an opening for a full-time AutoCAD/GIS Technician in our office in Stony Plain, Alberta. Duties include, but not restricted to: • Creation of new telecommunication/civil design drawings • Development of GIS records from construction as-built information • Creation of database files associated with drawings • Working with GPS data files and Alberta Cadastral maps Qualifications: • Recognized Diploma in Drafting and/or GIS Technology • MS Office XP/2000 • Experience with MS Access an asset • Ability to work under deadlines with minimal supervision • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • A Positive attitude • A self starter
