    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program& T/ D6 a  {8 j! l! k% Y
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities' J. b9 G9 C  T- _) c
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes+ C# Q1 u6 i: M/ ~- @. H
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
/ D# k" x2 |6 C' B# o+ O* X    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
* J# o/ Y. B& \9 B' u    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
! \: {. L' D/ a  d; T" w' r    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs  S& u; K: F% ?( q  W  }- r
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director" e: N% _7 [7 F; j- \& [+ L
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning9 W% D: J% M9 ~$ I6 h4 s
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
% K/ b5 _8 I/ x* n8 W! z& X    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media/ S7 H, f! S/ K6 Y
    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results; i* |& n+ n" i9 S
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications
. K" v; U+ r9 @: M3 a3 T- O/ P2 s* j
    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred: I1 b" N4 w) ]5 C1 [2 B7 C
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
! s) n8 v  q- f9 p+ x  L    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset/ s' @9 [8 H) b9 O; c/ o/ U1 X* K* @
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies4 p2 [5 e2 M, E, v3 i4 r
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills: F* ~9 |, L( w8 C+ q
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning; j$ ], S) N& d: {7 j5 o; c; [
    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)3 ^/ G6 T6 |$ O0 g1 M  R! c
    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills3 \* Y  T6 {$ C  J) F5 ~
