EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
. A# v! W" J, C# |4 ^0 h' ?Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.2 R9 l; f3 q0 F v! _) `1 u
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.% G/ Q5 B6 d( g4 \! y! L4 v
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
