Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

+ w- m% m f8 X- HEDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.! ~& m( |% G# E* X& w' I0 h
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.% _4 m3 x& [ p! n- i
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.
& x7 \+ R. Q9 k/ JThe male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
