I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof.; r' }1 r; k2 n D M+ j

Why you call all stuff under ***\***\cookie spyware/adware? , B; x O; Y) i w8 X3 [ 4 p, T# J! R2 H! B! n3 T" EAll of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration. , S, S- J+ l9 n$ H5 C+ r0 o0 w& b) G9 Y6 {" v) s& s
I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
