I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. / r& J. ^' O& p+ o" @0 [: H' X9 b' D% A; i( s
So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: N- }5 u+ j* v- I, o* N

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
