I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. # Q; n- k0 p; j ^* D+ }$ j3 b$ p% ?! _ T! K4 Q9 d; O
So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:+ G0 D% ~* {' d2 D/ Q; t

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration.3 V7 Z r3 I4 B# k( U3 B+ H3 W

不管什么原因，只要安全就好。。。你说得对，用得多的软件，漏洞多。但是，如果Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ相对安全（或者说黑客琢磨得少），何尝不是它的一个长处？
