I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. 0 Z* r4 K' u* W ( Y% O$ v- f9 s9 k( N [* OSo just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:: f& N9 r; L9 z+ [. I9 F

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration.5 P6 L1 k, K; @: e

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
