I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. : | C% y& Q* R( {. j D: s; D4 D* { ~ s2 O% C
So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: ; T/ ?% j& e- C; q* m, C `* S
Documents and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system . T; f( V- F% L g$ H+ |
