I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. # P9 s- R+ t! ]; u$ E 9 f7 B% Q- k1 B7 B- f2 @0 g) @So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:1 I6 t* |: x! a& f; r- C

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration., c: l$ m/ g4 [2 c& ~9 {
