I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. / D9 t* n; F; U% `. S f1 P- F: J, U7 B/ sSo just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: ' l8 ~. P) s- G5 y7 F5 |2 _. @/ s 8 R& G+ Y4 r* N' a% \Documents and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system / Z8 g$ V1 {% x Z& I

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.

不管什么原因，只要安全就好。。。你说得对，用得多的软件，漏洞多。但是，如果Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ相对安全（或者说黑客琢磨得少），何尝不是它的一个长处？
