Enhanced Respite Program

The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is
! j! e9 z% e6 G6 s6 N# N: D* V+ h. Srecruiting for community support workers in the2 A) E j* K8 H2 E: l
Coordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of
9 C5 {* S# O% r2 i- {, ulocations in the city.
2 J( e' h* k- ?Staff would provide respite care to parents or primary! ^( u+ \6 w, @2 ?% |1 z
care givers of children with moderate to severe physical" E% `5 X3 y0 d% O+ Z
or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three* ~& N$ J( ]; q3 U+ M7 O
(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school
T. z5 ]- v# o1 Z6 T( j3 j3 ^year, as the children are in school during the day, the8 R- @1 R1 P# V; g/ T
bulk of the hours available will be late afternoons and
9 P2 k+ t# _% E0 r! Mevenings or on weekends.

extended hours available during weekdays while

• the ability to support the clients with all aspects

• Clear Criminal Record and Child and Youth
