USD is currently in a bull phase. However, longterm trend is still bearish for USD. By the end of the year, you will see CAN dollar alot stronger. In the next a couple of years, USD will be in the toilet and commodity price such as precious metal will soar. Canada is rich in natural resource and precious metal, therefore, CAN dollar will be safe heaven for many foreign investors.

原因很简单，我在抛美元买加元！再有三个月，等我得美元储蓄差不多了（计划储蓄12000万亿），美元就会开始上跳！！

my opinion is as long as Bush Administration lasts, USD dollar will be continuing down and CAD will be getting stronger.   In March or June US interest will be raised up again so it will be a good chance to sell USD off.  But dont hope it will go up 1.30, 1.25 would be a very good price already.
