DESCRIPTION:

7 {, b; m6 X5 y, U& r  EGrandin out of School Care and Daycare is registered as a non-profit corporation.  Grandin has both a Daycare and Out of School Care in a shared building facility located at Grandin School.  September 1, 2008 we will become an After School Care Program exclusively.  

- ?& w4 B3 A: o9 e* j& S9 u: |The Grandin Out of School Care Board of Directors is inviting applications for the temporary position of child care worker to start as soon as possible.  This is a full time summer temporary position with the possibility of progressing into a permanent position.  This position involves working directly with the care, programming, implementation of programming of school age children on site and on field trips off site.

! Z+ W/ ~; t& j3 y1 X+ i8 j: E! A7 G! {        Commitment to the ideals expressed in the Grandin Daycare mission statement and a desire to work together with sponsoring bodies:  Catholic School Board, Grandin Administration, Grandin OSC Board of Directors, Staff and Parents.
        Level 1, 2 or 3 childcare certification or equivalent education
        Experience working with school age children
        Responsible, ethical, good communication skills with parents and staff

RESPONSIBILITIES:

         Supervision of school age children in a summer Out of school care program in accordance with the city of Edmonton and province of Alberta licensing regulations and standards
