JERUSALEM - Israel is sending disaster relief to China.: H: E( o$ L* N* b
7 Y' B' v& m1 p3 p5 nForeign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel says a plane is on the way to southern China carrying clothing, medical supplies, generators and tents for victims of the May 12 earthquake.

Mekel estimated the shipment was worth US$1.5 million and said it was due to arrive in China later today.
