Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
$ i, D8 i H+ kResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
1 L, s3 c* g9 v9 F# D5 k3 C7 rResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers

Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff% w2 C: q$ G3 F) r: N* {8 q
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System6 D- ^' K' v& C
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP% f0 Z% ~- Q; H" G6 z* B
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS2 b3 o! {- l- m) C* `
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

& J. J) G1 u; J/ g* dTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program

Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations# ?: }, H0 e4 h& k
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)4 f% @ L! ^/ u0 G
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
