Duties
- |6 @; R& Z! c8 O. t( gWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele; c8 B9 h: w) |! j9 i
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
2 j& g9 U3 R9 {, ~8 V1 b0 N. UResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers8 S2 x. b* K/ l2 ~6 ^- F
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support; j d. ~8 S+ d' C
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff

6 w* @0 M! g7 ]7 uDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP

Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases$ @( Q8 S" l- a; g: F7 ^* d. L
Qualifications7 K+ U- o) k2 {/ a3 ]
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
/ N9 Z1 n, ?9 v6 kRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer8 X" a# X+ Q( A, |- e4 i1 Q3 X# V
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
/ Y) e5 y: Q0 z4 w X+ bExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
