This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
% @6 D. d4 ]4 p9 S) H+ ubecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.; v8 J9 B: ] m: y/ i. X# S
; U# }% v/ ], yTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
; Y2 W1 y8 h Qof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different7 C/ G4 |/ W# P) F
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
