If the engine oil is frozen, what we can do? Can Block Heater works?

I think the engine oil in my car is frozen. I try to boost it with another car and it 's still not working.

Anyone can give me some suggestions?

我觉得block heater是管打火的，跟机油没关系。
我的车子前天早上打着火后，机油灯一直亮着。

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
8 H: T' S  m$ @* N4 z; P3 ^# O% Ubasically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant, and keep the engine block warm.
; k# [: y1 D3 Y2 o) q8 i7 B8 gEither way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.

- E4 m% a; e( u, C6 ]% qIf you do not have BH on ur car, by using synthetic oil you can also prevent oil frozen from happening.
7 v8 R6 x0 f6 j# v3 W4 U7 z) L' sA good synthetic oil, 5w20 or 5w 30 , or 3w 20 has a pure point of -30 to -40 degrees.

Tow your car to somewhere warm and try to start after a while in warm place, or wait till the weather becomes warmer.

do you think using a hair dryer may help to warm up a car a little bit?

插电加热3小时，一般可以打着车。如果不行，可能电池电量不行了，应该用别的车BOOST。

5 x; z* o6 U' X, }6 Q& qBLOCK HEATER是通过加热发动机内的冷却液间接加热ENGINE OIL，降低油的粘度；同时使汽油的可燃性提高。

( J/ M3 E6 ^3 w2 r! G不行用表量量BLOCK HEATER的电阻，应该是50欧姆左右。
