Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
4 v7 d0 Z# ]6 _+ i5 Y6 ?/ KExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
# x3 X; u' x) b) p# c, s
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

3 ]. t9 F8 V& p: z5 `" G# aHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.
