strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will! W! K2 U8 A4 K; o# ]0 d/ K$ G) L
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a6 q" }0 B! b& ~2 M
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
- c2 {8 }" g' }: mfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
1 X! \" N, r/ J+ N4 y( _9 rrequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA5 }2 S- z( V( h/ O1 x
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
7 Z3 `- ^" I4 n$ j& l# eover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
- E& J, V2 N6 M7 V9 H6 Z0 Fis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with3 _9 d. W4 V/ j* u
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping: k& c( C: l% a
accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated% ]$ A W+ W V9 Z
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
