ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of

) Z* ^# t# }& V0 W3 h+ l& |technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
: `9 v- E" F# K3 xstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

3 |1 ?: w& z1 _( r  z% L3 b9 f5 hQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
! |$ _/ I# S/ R, ^* p( d: s/ \6 l% tobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
* Q- w* \. p$ L! @- ^# Zrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
- m* o# Q0 N& \9 u6 Q: Jrequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
' u& M4 X% }7 Xthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
! ^% O8 ~2 S; H; aaccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
2 ]( `/ F  k+ o' x- Dsalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
