ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

" E* y! s& b1 z" UQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
  H" N, K* N- e9 ^1 g/ @obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
# N  ~0 v9 {. _; A+ p: Hfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
  R) `6 z) N& {3 T2 Q1 ^required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
, l/ `0 F' W* @( k& tcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
& S0 r0 L% @' S# ?( lthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
0 C  h  S5 g) o" c% ]& Uaccurate and complete research records.
