ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
* P5 q$ Q! \2 d, |4 L. F8 \technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

2 a. C$ J: f6 c  W; sQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
) p7 s1 U& y$ M0 ~& p% T  f9 |, f) |related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
* ]& u3 N+ t1 x9 Arequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
5 o! a* c+ C9 y* r! xover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
0 z% `8 J7 p3 ^/ m" e' I+ ~9 Ris a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
/ }* O. O6 V+ l$ m& w$ [3 Taccurate and complete research records.

salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
