烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

9 n" l5 o* {% j5 V/ Q7 \# {• 1 cup sugar
6 H4 J4 N+ s0 j Q$ t& v$ F• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
4 N" H {$ Z1 R- t, _• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
& y* z$ K9 k4 R8 \* }• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder / t" x. p! @; X' i% c. \
• 4 eggs, well beaten

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
/ B2 ^0 K2 Q4 UTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
6 W) ^1 J8 t0 _Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.- s$ s% c" Y( D$ ?: M2 Z. t: \
6 }, s8 i- i* c3 N8 P) ~这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
+ }% W: r2 V! Sbeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
