( d3 M$ W+ J3 Z: A# RAs the Corporate Financial Co-ordinator within the Corporate Accounting and Reporting office of the Finance Branch, you will lead the year-end reporting functions within the City as well as the operating fund corporate accounting, and guide the development of related policy, procedures, and strategies. This includes:$ `5 X- e$ Z5 a

· Coordinating the completion of the annual consolidated financial statements, the Provincial municipal information return, and other financial reporting for audit.6 i# q/ a6 s7 B; d4 I

· Providing advice within the organization and to related Boards and Authorities on options for resolution of financial and reporting issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· University Degree majoring in accounting or finance, and a Professional Accounting Designation.) H9 A; C; R+ v5 F2 e9 {
0 l. h( v8 x0 |6 ^: _8 t1 t· A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in the financial accounting and reporting field.: f. F9 t2 e2 I; ]' p$ O& S
. o0 r* O6 M- @0 \ b- v$ x· Experience with complex computerized financial systems. Familiarity with SAP would be advantageous.

· Experience in preparing complex, consolidated financial statements for audit.

HOURS OF WORK:
