  愁都与我们无关，舞姿歌声都发自我们心底。不需要专业的培训，也没有华丽
  的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭

  L# ~7 l/ V/ v. ]6 ~$ K4 z
The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
2 g5 ^/ ^* V' ~4 E$ `  B! [$ X eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
: Z, f4 I+ p& I9 p customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
this broad land.

We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
6 j, P5 U4 n; l% G5 d+ x# A$ R contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
3 N$ j" T. w1 f, F7 W talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
" {0 b$ s" B7 I  g) M) T* Y6 N performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
7 z- H$ Y9 j7 s  q4 Q2 b1 e5 J, T Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
( N) A9 l$ c+ l$ p9 f$ n0 d lot of fun, like what we did before.

6 i7 k$ n1 d$ q+ ^5 x% o& hAs far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
9 y3 u- q  w( y8 s performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
7 U. K! M. H; N, T comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.
6 T$ s+ Z: G- k" E, V9 \/ y- \
3 o9 l5 _* ?! QMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
control.
