• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• set program priorities and directions

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required

• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders( s* b+ B" ]* G
• communicate the value of the organization to the public) Z$ t7 G7 _' S0 m( K. J
• identify community needs and trends7 c! X/ C; a! A4 ]9 c& I
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups8 p6 g: L* L% S$ ^. i
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
" `/ C% Q3 q& ]! s1 ~! V. {• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.* w' v1 _ c7 n2 Z" `. n6 V
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications$ \# m$ E, f% h! U/ S
- University degree in a related field; 0 V4 w% a |( i* o
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;- [. T9 z/ C ^5 D( `: ]
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; # G- F& x7 l1 t( ]% ?
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization ' ~+ j m5 R4 ^5 o% R3 h* E- i

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits , z5 p0 z& s+ |" d& s& j
