External Relations

• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders+ ^" Q; \( Z5 }, f. `9 s
• communicate the value of the organization to the public

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups

• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems." s G1 G9 p. k- T0 {
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff2 p+ h( l4 r ?( N

- University degree in a related field;
3 _7 S3 q. n- s1 z* W1 A- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
% m, L, u) {8 v& i( J- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
. Y% m9 _2 X, y5 @- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization / x# `- R7 X! z

9 Y% a& B& N' U/ ]- o- @0 F; T- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
