Staff

• provide opportunities for staff development and growth

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
9 A) |( `, T' K' D# C• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders$ O- v6 a3 X/ N1 t
• communicate the value of the organization to the public# f& ]# k# G; o/ r" V
• identify community needs and trends
u! v: r) M2 _* P0 s- t; n• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups: K: z4 i1 O- ^' D
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
! {8 r; H. t9 L2 g2 `5 r• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems. J* T9 L2 N$ a
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff" g/ @' } T' P9 @2 u0 I. b$ T1 v

Qualifications
- s2 J, q1 D# W0 K- University degree in a related field; + ^/ J+ b+ P. B5 O( J8 ~0 b F- T
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;5 q7 A+ I3 x p6 ~. A# {' I
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
" C; a! H( x* e: H3 u+ z" t X, M `- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 5 c8 p" }. r$ j" w! L3 E

Salary
4 [8 m! X" X1 F; q- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
