Shifts:            8:00am to11:00am - Wednesday and Friday

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

+ P$ K4 u9 o4 w DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

! N" c  W( z: I$ Z7 t; D1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
! P: ?6 H6 g( f) ^- m7 x  g2 M
9 [. l0 s, q6 `( P2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

" I  j/ X# ]& [; F3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

) M8 M2 G3 V: ]4 e' [5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

1 G- h$ \: l" S9 G
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
$ L7 q& c" y  [& N; \3 }* k
9 i/ E. N' m. ~# P2) Cashier experience.
  v2 U6 d7 L9 h; [3 o5 u
8 t! Y) Z$ r: p. m: }3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
+ i; P2 H' N; b
4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

) `# m) S6 P/ v, B- @5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
