JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

' Z+ ~" g  z' ^9 w+ o6 i" W& d1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

' c0 G% h/ [2 k3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

/ i1 T2 G$ r! {4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

2 r! g& X- c/ Q# \3 m
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

4 P7 _: r3 |. T2) Cashier experience.

- h) m1 L1 p' O" o9 h) S3 d3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

7 Y6 a( M0 w5 L5 v* B2 b3 S4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

0 f3 U1 a- f- X# @9 C7 H$ x+ i5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
