JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
l2 S* J- G* j- @0 v. wSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 7 @8 ?& |# [4 _; ]* _4 N
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects . F' m% k K. y% s8 j
of Course Pack production.: D+ ?1 E4 X, ~* [7 ]8 m
; }; w" F7 [9 k) \5 p6 J) f6 R& q2 t
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* k4 B. M- }. j/ U ?
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning 7 g) ]$ V+ l2 D: K7 f' a$ k' Z
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
/ k1 H' u5 O9 T; u' i! @0 \ m0 C$ Y( H$ a* b
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
/ s3 p* b5 {+ pprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.1 y1 `+ y: T2 o' h. ]
9 n1 H" I& n: X( q* x& J( V' W
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of $ c- o0 W0 b7 a* g
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and ' M, x+ p+ l% {$ n G. p: x& g8 S
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 1 y d" U$ d' Z( T

7 M* [0 j. K8 A( ]. y5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 0 R5 t, r) A: V
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
