TEMPORARY CREATION ASSISTANTS

0 G( k, `2 ^$ N+ j' ^8 YJOB SUMMARY:  Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
: {4 _: [/ o- TSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical  ' i5 Q- d3 n/ b
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects  
% e2 H' e( O0 ~& ?. E9 oof Course Pack production.
. p3 ?! |2 C! H/ ~9 P
, `% i; Q' S0 L+ ]; ?/ GDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  R5 ^9 R- a6 [- o$ w$ t6 v/ k1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning  
3 g" q& m* t9 L0 H. E. X' v$ q+ vof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.; `) p6 D1 p) C4 c' n
/ z0 ~7 I9 r4 H
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including  
6 e8 t$ q) e+ J  Y. h) L2 R( t$ Aprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
" q% o9 a0 y( z1 z2 s, H( b
% d. j& D' `3 X, u! v3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of  5 @9 z/ I6 e3 C  Q& |3 \) r- \9 g) }' E
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and  
. h0 k' R+ h1 Q9 Y! Dkeeping appropriate and accurate records.% w. R  E* B) S; P! J5 `2 j

9 }% S6 d' p1 `- Q" _% Z8 T4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment  $ ?: Q6 \4 k: u! D( J
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,  ; A3 h& f. D4 m' Z
and adhere to regulations as appropriate." i) k* Y4 f: ^5 ]# L- F3 h( D

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.5 D5 c; f7 S5 i2 ~. s- J
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication  * h5 m/ _! G' U  I  L6 `
skills.7 Z# h, E( I' [1 E
9 ?9 ]  s& V1 O6 B" G2 X
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.
& t5 B& ]; T4 J2 Y7 N# q( X
9 `( ^; Z9 g  g& g/ F( L4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.' h/ Z: V# _' f( P- M- ?, ^

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
