Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

6 [ h' h `' @- z' t0 r. L1 vBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and. k' U2 O: Q- a& O3 n
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
" X( s& w) \3 x6 ^+ _+ p/ oprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
; _" k3 u& k" XChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
+ [( n& W/ a9 M- F! G+ Fartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.# x- r4 e1 E: x8 _2 j
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
. r6 E. k" p9 svisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the) q% k: A3 ~$ O# Y2 i3 t) h
recyclables.+ p: [2 y, n2 n9 _" [. l
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
) D8 F! G7 f+ L% L- r( r+ ipart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.2 p5 j. ?2 n# C' }' [2 q! Z
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing* @8 V2 v7 i' E" w, [/ u/ s0 V
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
! T u1 a9 h/ ]. ehours are part of this crew’s duties.0 n# w/ y, l( V& G1 C- h
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
/ {. j" }( t# ^ o# ifestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide6 v4 U+ n" W. [
programs to visitors to the festival.8 ^) J% s3 C3 D& S
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for' {" J9 K! h4 K2 ^5 ]9 e2 ?, V& R5 @9 k
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
3 u6 e' n% l& _3 a: GOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed' }7 o1 Z2 A( i
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the( U" l3 n1 E" a+ c; j
festival.
8 i n' d4 i% V+ O+ Y8 {Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
7 T1 D, J$ k% S% j6 t2 t/ L {operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
7 G7 }) U. J5 u! eare physically fit and ready for any emergency.3 s) _/ i' L+ p! ]' x. H
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training+ m! [' o. N$ B9 U9 G9 g! x
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.* B: P$ v+ Q( G$ i! I
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be* [2 W/ `* j y V( _ G, }* F8 G9 g
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as' `! c* F( L0 N$ f( t
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival7 k& Y9 @2 X+ \$ \$ Q8 J
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
