1 q4 w# |8 g& [. HBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
# w7 f- P6 p- Y+ }! S! R! swork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
1 p+ M* o; @, z0 e- O+ E9 Sprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
4 v' g( a7 I' r5 w6 q5 B2 wChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the5 s* R! r5 w& o2 j
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
|" W7 {: e; y& }9 l' JEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
. r1 D5 s U8 m( Svisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
: E1 Q* g6 g& T0 m# qrecyclables.8 D; A; M3 s- x- s
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be8 {( m7 X5 E2 `- f1 O
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.. s2 ~. D, d2 H
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
3 h9 |' {, l* ]; ?3 Nthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
7 V& }. Y) C% a. b4 h7 Z4 nhours are part of this crew’s duties.
' f0 g, e# r1 ^8 YInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
) z- b6 Z' v" _' @festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
& [3 X0 k0 S' M$ Yprograms to visitors to the festival.
+ m- c+ v% V3 c, x( yKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
) _' X/ F2 y2 A) O" @1 ]$ N& ueveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
8 Z9 N- z& l% F) r# d6 FOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed' I. ?# N I' J7 C0 a# q
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the- s- w/ ]; J9 {' b
festival.
4 i, x: | \6 S& ESite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
$ G) Z/ `, t9 Coperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you# T6 B% g6 |3 m$ l/ H
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
- B5 P$ D# B) x; a GStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
) _" ]" q! u/ M. d g; l8 Aand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
, n; y h" g; rTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be9 O, y4 B1 N: J; A! R8 m
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as% x* c! C* U) h/ |. o! e
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival% B2 N, u" ?4 [9 y* {
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
