ECBEA was approached by the Asian Chinese Opera Association to announce

followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
& ?. _5 y5 }" x; _3 ~Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at

theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

# P4 g4 H, }2 j+ E0 [/ _instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of

Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
) Z9 N. J# P1 `! oin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts

Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
