Food Service Worker I - RATT
(Line Cook: Friday Lunches 11:30am-3pm)

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
. G5 z6 [: g! Y; K
2 A+ u3 k" ~/ ]1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.

2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
5 e' b0 s& h: b, b, r! Z6 T8 l" P9 U
3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
% a( E$ X9 ?. V( x" R: p9 ?Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.
) k: e8 y) H7 P' l8 c- k7 m
) ]3 ]# l  L$ t- a1 B$ \) i4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
deliveries.

5) Assist with monthly food inventory.
, w" b4 u* S9 V! j
6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Powerplant operating hours.

: F7 D: K  B/ c( J7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
: d/ T. W5 s3 TManager.

! G: e2 ~/ T* L( P: jQUALIFICATIONS;
# a6 O( q5 k* p$ l% A" {. Q# ^
( J* p6 J! s+ w: ^6 G4 [& x1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
. _4 R+ C% ]1 a7 h/ i; t
" ?" q! x% A( {, s! z2) Previous experience with food inventories.

4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Good public and staff relations.

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
