DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
, a+ d3 ~$ I) Z7 V4 B(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
# M9 S( ], w) R7 Z/ Q8 d% r8 oand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free

# }& J7 v* y, W8 ]7 R1 {1 u
) ~$ f# O4 r" E; Z, ?5 W4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
: D) X( j" k% a% w9 I) Kconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
3 k% V) F# x. @( O" R0 {- f, q: T% r# JManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

0 n7 A( k% H# b+ e- x1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
( m! ^9 x. N/ M% t. ecalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

% r( J9 e7 c2 p4 M+ s6 h2 c) @3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
