JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
) }* o/ c( l3 I6 P5 k9 h% P0 w: L(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

* j. k! u2 ?# a4 q1 P( sDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
7 F. v# D4 \3 u5 b  i+ o1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
) X9 B, U5 t, i3 A! \3 e, [; U
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
, i( i3 j5 e: z/ [' U7 Cof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
% ?* ?" ]4 P! H6 E7 J- w( m& econsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
  _& L$ J5 ?# i2 I" H8 z1 r* _
. Q" |/ P; J8 q$ e1 z' f8 u: G! E5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
; F3 a" N) V" X6 \+ r* DManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

) a( g! C7 j7 K- OQUALIFICATIONS;
6 j" O, Y4 x& x1 i3 A6 {1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

) g# I0 I$ n! G0 O" M2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
* h8 x. ?  w) Sof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

* l3 N- I: h# n9 Y4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
) F! x- _, Y4 a7 s& mpublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

7 w1 B3 `) l3 [) ~9 H+ mShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
